Sashimi with spicy Tamarind dressing, coconut cream, toasted coconut flakes & fresh herbs

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

150g Fresh fish ( We normally use Yellowtail or Sea bass)

70 ml Coconut cream , chilled

70 ml Spicy Tamarind dressing

1/2 fresh lime

Pinch of salt

40g Coconut flakes, Toasted

Handful of mixed herbs ( we use Basil, Mint and Coriander)

METHOD

  • Mix the coconut cream so that it is an even consistency and pour it on the base of a flat plate or shallow bowl.

  • Thinly slice the fish with a sharp knife and place it on-top of the coconut cream. Season the fish with a pinch of salt

  • Pour the spicy tamarind dressing over the sashimi and top with toasted coconut flakes, fresh lime juice and fresh herbs.
